Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment that uses fire or pumping to create negativepressure inside the jar, which causes localized stasis while the jar is attached to the body surface.
The principle of cupping therapy is to adjust the balance of yin and yang, relieve fatigue and strengthen the body by removing dampness, dredging the meridians and collaterals, eliminating stagnation, moving qi and blood, reducing swelling and pain, and removing toxins and diarrhea. Later, it was extended and applied to rheumatic pain, lumbar and back muscle strain, headache, asthma, abdominal pain, traumatic bruising, common rheumatic colds and all kinds of soreness andpain.
Syllabus and Curriculum
This course consists of a total of 20 credit hours. Classroom instruction, study and analysis of cupping techniques.
